QUEER DISRUPTORS

An exploration of queer history and disruptors

All too often LGBTQIA+ people are left out of or misrepresented in history. This project aims to play a part in rectifying the problem. As you engage with this website, I hope to inspire you to see the value of lesser-known history and seek out more knowledge for yourself. By no means is this, or could ever be, an exhaustive source for queer history. It is my interpretations as I learn more myself.

"Queer" is used throughout this project as a resignified term comprising sexual and gender identities that are non-heterosexual or non-cisgender.
